The space on the right is for Miranda and left space is for Angela. The part in between is the meeting space.

The inspiration came from the abstract woman's body below as the power of Miranda is her beauty. I'm trying to show her feminine characteristic using curves.

Elevator

This is Angela's office but has not quite finished. Both curves and straight lines are used because not only she is a female but also takes on some male characteristics to be strong enough to sit on an equal footing with all other males in the political environment.

This is the longitudinal elevator for Angela. Although it is formed by squares with hard edges, it still got some soft lines inside, which represents Angela's feature.

EXP3: Mashup

This is the mashup I wrote last week but I'm really confused after the studio because I'm not sure about the actual notion of ‘power’. Is it like the authority or the more physical power such as energy or the external power, i.e. media, public opinion etc. It seems that my mashup is more about spirituality.

The most powerful woman in the world can be a good role model for girls and show them they can do whatever they feel passionate about and still live a healthy life. She would make a difference by being true to herself, bringing hope and inspiration to other people. As far as females are concerned, it seems that their looks are always more scrutinized then the looks of their male counterparts. People love her because she's insanely beautiful but not only for this reason. In order for women to succeed in today’s environment, they must take on some male characteristics to be strong enough to sit on an equal footing with all other males, showing the world there are no boundaries to courage and faith. Everyone is looking for the answers of a powerful life, but the answers are within ourselves. It seems to be a balanced combination of external appearance with internal spirituality.

The space above is Kuepper's lab and below one is Darwin's, which would be under the water. The meeting space is in between.

Kuepper's lab has a large area of roof structure and the solar tower, which is used to set the solar cells.

The lower part of Kuepper's lab is small while upper part is lager. This is to fit the gap between the mountains and maximize practical function of the roof structure.

The patten which has the character of photovoltaics is chose for Kuepper's lab, which is very close to her work.

The texture for meeting space is quite organic.

For the Darwin's lab, which is under the water, I tried to put a texture which shows the adaptability to the environment.
